Following a successful fit out of the back office, Zentura were asked to refurbish the reception and client refreshment suites for Merrill Corporation to create a more modern and contemporary feel in keeping with the rest of the space.
The reception area was very dated and gloomy with no obvious waiting area for clients so the old reception desk was stripped out and a much smaller bespoke reception desk installed along with luxury high back lounge chairs. Feature wallpaper was included to create a much more welcoming space for Merrill Corporation’s high profile clients.
The washrooms were also very tired so these were stripped out and new sanitaryware and cubicle systems installed to modernise the overall look and feel.
Merrill Corporation decided to replace all the lighting throughout the client area with LED panels to brighten the space as well as reduce overall running costs – these were replaced in a phased programme to minimise downtime of the busy conference facilities.
The client refreshment suite was stripped out and the old furniture replaced with comfortable lounge seating from Orangebox and Frovi as well as high touchdown tables to create the feel of an airport waiting lounge. New modern floor coverings were installed and soft feature lighting to create a soft ambient atmosphere.
The results were very pleasing and have transformed what was a dated and unwelcoming space into an excellent facility that Merrill Corporation can be proud to show their clients.
